Depends if you have an induction kit, i have a Momo brace and they fit between the strut tops (no no with an induction kit) rather than on-top like sparco, OMP etc
The only induction kit i could fit without crushing the filter was ITG's induction kit supplied the now dead UAD motorsports

Dunno what brace is on mine (polished ally thing) will check, but the finish and fit are v good and it gets passed the standard air box and battery.
BTW why are you all fitting induction kits, modding the original airbox gives the same results with a decent panel filter and fresh air hoses from the front of the car, will be doing soon to mine when i find the front of the airbox [:0]

Steve,
This is probably about the time when you're gonna find out that the standard airbox won't fit on a 1242.
Not if you want the bonnet to close, anyway[:0]

Might be a real close fit if you take the soundproofing off, but it'll be touch and go - I know, I've tried!

i got an omp on my sei. it is an easy fit. you will have to cut away part of your ecu bracket and expasion tank bracket to make it fit. Looks good once its on and it handles a lot better. will get some pics for ya 2moro and post them

The case of modding the airbox, do you get more tubing to the lower end of the car, ie the grill to suck the air in?, if thats the case, might look into that.

Shopping List:

-40mm Lowing Springs
Cadamuro Rear Spoiler
Window Tints
Scrapped 1.2 Punto

Standard airbox is on and fits okay, where did yours hit Pete?
What year is the engine?

Steve, mine's from a 97R Punto 60 and the bonnet won't close with the soundproofing on. I'll have to have another go soon then - want to duct the air intake from the passenger side wing where it'll always be nice and cool, I have some 2" flexi piping that should do the trick.
