My Cinq is coming up on 70k, it had a cambelt at 38k so renewal isn't far away so I decided to be orgainsed and gather up some parts before judgement day.
Feeling flush I decided on genuine Fiat stuf and looked to get the following: -
1 x Cambelt
1 x Alternator Belt
1 x Tensioner
1 x Water Pump
1 x Cam Cover Gasket
So, faxed off request to the local dealers and the results were:-
1 x Cambelt = 14.12
1 x Alternator Belt = 5.47
1 x Tensioner = 16.88
1 x Cam Cover Gasket = 4.00
All going well I thought, then
1 x Water Pump = 47.23, 47.23? WTF!
I think maybe a non genuine part is in order!
Oh and the total of that quote was 87.70 excluding VAT!! & 103.05 inc VAT
