Technical cinq project

Hi there just registered. Come from punto sports and current project is my cabriolet gt-r as some people may have seen. however current run around is a Cinquecento sporting in grey thats been bashed about a bit.

this will be the next project i reckon so can somebody advise me on what to do with it please.

1.4 gt engines etc i know there supposed to be too tall but what are the exact problems

any links to threads that would suit my cuase whould help a lot.

costs items etc etc

no problems as such with the 1.4 GT engine apart from the fact that it doesnt actually fit in the car. Its ALOT of custom fabrication and work to get it in and needs the whole wiring loom and everything etc.

1.3 MK1 Uno turbo engine is the better option though as the 1.4 gt engine is taller and so will cause more clearence problems.

as for the wiring etc thats not a problem but i had read that the punto gt engine was specifically too tall for the cento bay is this not true then as i have a spare gt engine lying about like.

And the PGT lump is a relatively heavy thing - the handling will suffer.
