Technical cinq problem

i am having problems with my l reg cinq the engine is reving to high on start up could somebody tell what the problem is please its a 1 litre engine
throttle cable is disconnected still reving to high all pipes replaced 6 months ago along with map censor

check the throttle cable isnt stuck

revving high, how high - is it idling high, or is it just revving like at full throttle

is the injector light (looks like a nozzle with spray) on?

it could be a split vacuum hose or something, more info needed really

as he said ^^^^^^ check all hoses and cables make sure they arnt stuck or jammed

Check the hoses are on the right spigots - odd, but it makes a difference!
