Cinq Got broken into Lasr Night :-(

great start to the new year our little baby fiat cinq got broken into last night the gits got away with the sub and some crappy 2p rear speakers attached to the parcel shelf. that didnt really upset me to much, it was the fact that they bent the passenger door down to get in which now needs replacing. why couldnt the little swines just break the glass. luckily they didnt touch the cdplayer as the face was off it and it wasnt no use to them.

police come to have a look at and said someone will be over to finger print it later as there were loads all over the door and glass. guess what typical kent police nobody turns up!!! called them and asked where are you they said will be over in 10mins at 5pm its 11pm now and still no show lol. and they wonder why people take the law into their own hands!!!

im more upset cos the chinq took me 2 months to build up from a pile of parts on a van. aquired it with no engine in about a million pieces. totally rebuilt the engine/whole car and got it through the mot as a project for the other half to drive, only for some gits to break into it. makes me feel like why do we bother.

typical police! reminds me of a time when the neighbours car got broken into and the theif ran through our front garden falling against our window leaving his handprint. called the police said they would send a unit out (10pm) 2 am no show went to bed. next morning 8 am knock on door its the police, should have seen their face when i told them to 'pi*s off, im in bed'

Is it me.. Fiat doors seem to be well flimsy.

I had my punto JTD broken into twice the same way, first time they got the top of the door down and looked in the boot but saw there was subs and amps being installed they left after that.

After an insurance clame I put an alarm on it and put my subs and amps in there. They come back I think they wasen't expecting the alarm but it done the job and woke me up. I shot out and borrod my mates vectra 2.5 v6 as didn't really wont to touch the punto chased them down this ****ry lane in there XR2 doing near 100mph but figerd It was gonna be how runs out of fuel first and can assure you it was gonna be me so I tock the Reg number.

Phoned the police gave them the reg number they come out that night all happerning as 3am tock the finger prints of the car.

The result: Not enouth marks or finger prints on the car and the car apperntly was stolen.

not sure how much of that I beleave but then fort I can't be assed with this again so got ride of the punto and now have my bravo.

So I understand what your going through.

couldnt believe it when you told me about it last night, especially considering its parked on a forever busy main road... as i said last night we can set them up with a dead cinq with some crap bunged on the parcel shelf and use your new toys on them

as you say its absolutely gutting considering the amount of work we put in to get it where it is today, and you did considerably more than me and i put in a bugger load of work aswell

as you said last night, may just be best to have no shelf and a small amp hidden somewhere (under the rear seats maybe) for the front speakers for the wife to play her god awful french music

When my Bravo was broken into the forensic guy found 1 fingerprint on the broken facia - 7 months later I got a call from CID saying they arrested a housebreaker who lived in the next town and his fingerprint matched...never actually heard what happened to the wee dick.

Lets hope they get your guy eventually.

sorry to hear about that mate some people just have no respect today the amount of money that goes into cars anyway is enough then to have some t**t like that to go and break into them just getts on my.............. well u know what i mean

Matt, my mates punto got broken into, and they fingerprinted it. about 3 months later they caught someone for car theft, and called my mate to go to court because the prints matched. he plead guilty to everything in the court
how col is it that sometimes people actually GET justice!

My garagre got broken into the early hours of the 3rd of semptember (thats why i coulkdn't make trax!!) anyway they cleared my garage of every tool i had and my in car dvd player and screen and my £500 rc car, total cost they got away with £2500!!! there was blood all over my car forensics came got the blood 4 weeks later they raided this scumbags house.... he was 15 years old!!! he got 6 months and i finally got my payout 2 weeks ago!!!
