General cinq for sale

i haven't used the new site much can't find where to post it but i am sadly selling my cinq it a red cinqucento sporting 1108cc , it has 60,000 on the clock it had a few modifications done to the engine and bodywork
it has
40mm gmax lowering spring (more like 45-50mm drop)
14'' migila spider alloys, partly meshed front bumper
engine has a K&N induction kit, magnex exhaust
skimmed head pipercross oil breather
i'm asking £1200 for it , offers welcome

also my car has the seicento steering collum and the drivers air bag, also unfinished projects like a spoiler to go on and a bad boy bonnet

The Cinq's never had an airbag I'm afriad mate, I and a few others have the "Rugby Ball" (to quote Pete!) wheel and if you prize off the cover you'll find a strange cubby hole!

What about reg? Since you speak of the newer style wheel then it must be a P or R reg?

I thought it was an 'extra' you could pay for to have on on - my mate had a R reg one that had air bag - it funnily enough had a few other different things to my car - strange to think why they changed them when they were being phased out!!!

they changed them when phased out as they were slowly introducing the sei bits (so there would be sei bits on parts counter when the sei went on sale) so they slowly introduced them into the last of the cinqs ready for the first of the sei's

My first had rugby ball steering wheel and no airbag, second had normal, this one's got normal (expected it to be rugby ball tho as its r reg)

Well I was told it was an extra and as far as I have been told by my friend he got it as an extra as he'd just had a nasty accident in his first cinq and thought it was worth it so unless he's telling porky pies or Fiat have told him porky pies he has one.

Also has electric headlamp adjusters which mine don't have which weren't an extra just as standard.

His was very late R.

I've got said headlight adjusters, they don't work so no gain. Mines was registered December 1997 so should be a P plate on british plates I think.

Em, go round your friends and haul off the cover to reveal a black hole. Trust me!

Yep, my Mondeo RIP was an early 97 P-Reg, so late 97 would be R

Wow! The chap who sold it to me said it should be a P plate and I thought "ace!" lowly me gets a P reg for his first car instead of some old banger!

late '97 is r reg, my yellow 'un (the middle yellow 'un) was 97 and p reg, red 'un is 97 and r reg

Just found my orginal Irish registration document and it reveals that I was lying when I said December, it was actually 20/11/1997!

What does that make me?
