Technical Cinq Boot Mat? How's it attached?

Hey All again,

Sounds a stupid Question and prob's is.
I wanted to get a bit of board measured up for the back of the sporting, but found the mat was fastened to the back of the rear seats.

Reason is most of the crap in the boot falls through with the boot mat into the spare wheel well.

Didn't have time to look at how it was attached as was then going into work.

So, how is it fastened?
Screwed, Pop Riveted etc?

bits of plastic holding it in (cant think proper name for it) where it pops through then holds itself in because its slightly wider (but will come off with some effort)

Just give em a sharp tug and they all come off, and i managed to do it without breaking them!
I also made a fasle floor. U will have to do it in a least two parts as it goes under the bumper sort of area if u no what i mean.

Was just going to do it the size of the carpet.

Trust me u wont get it in in 1 piece, unless u use thin flexible mdf, which will still be hard tro get out if you need to. Ive got a four piece boot floor all interlocking using hinges, coz ive got a boot install and might still want to get the spare out!

Was just going to do it the size of the carpet.

Will have a better look tomm.

There's no way you could make it the size of the carpet cos the capet folds up at the sides and at the boot edge.

Ive got 1 piece in my boot, but its not a totally snug fit - i went for ease of getting in and out rather than a perfect fit.

ive got 1 piece too, its bit broken though (crumpled in accident) but still does the job, can also just about get to the spare
