Tuning Cinq 899cc bob

I got one off ebay. Partially bored a hole in the bob (it's very soft plastic) with a knife so that it was slightly smaller than the thread of the fitting, then just twisted it in. A little sealant on the inside and bob's your uncle.

Can't remember the exact sizes off the top of my head, think it's a 16mm barb and 5/8" thread but don't quote me on that ;) The car is elsewhere at the moment so can't measure it.

Ill have a look, i know a guy that only breaks cinqs and seis (one a week) he might have a couple. Ive been looking at the silicone pipe to connect the bob to the cone and it looks like ill need at least 4 pieces! But ive seen member on here with a single pipe?

The single piece ones you've seen are most likely GSR, custom made to fit exactly and expensive.
Mine is 4 pieces: reducer 45-50mm -> Short straight 50mm ALU pipe (around 10cm length) -> 50-76mm reducer elbow -> 76mm straight ALU pipe (again around 10cm) -> Cone

As for the bolts to hold the bob down, I got mine from B&Q and took the original airbox stud things with me so I could get the right thread. They were a little too long though so they each use 3 washers on top to get a tight seal (y)
