General cigarette lighter

so i needed to get a new cigarette lighter cos my old one broke and got one off ebay (i know what u will all say but it was cheap, tasteful - fiat logo - and said it was 22mm fitting) however it sits in the plug loose still... is there any way to make the fitting tighter by either swapping the casing of the old one for the new or doing something to the actual plug... or any other method of stopping it from wobbling?

Not so that it'll work as a lighter still. Unless you wrap thin sheet of metal around the plug several times untill it's tight but I'm not sure if it'd be 100% safe

so where does the power feed to the lighter? at the top near the handle or the bottom where it gets hot? would that adhesive metal tape work? its held in enough not to fall out randomly, but it wobbles and is one of them annoying superficial things.
