General christmas for Chii

i expect around 105bhp once its set up. I've no idea what it was running previously though.

new front brakes. UT calipers, Red Dot 6 groove discs, Ferrodododo pads, and 6mm spacers to make it fit (ta aaron)

course though its not all about the power.

new brakes, new wishbones, radius arms, powerflex bushes, arb etc should make the car all round better :D

Ok, bit of progress today - first night i've had off all week, in fact, only time off i've had this week!

no arms!

also dropped the exhuast in at local place to have it repaired, and a flexy section added to the decat section. And dropped the head in to have it skimmed and valves ground in (if needed)

Just read the whole thread, nice one Mark, you're making good progress.

I'm interested in how you get on with your MPi set-up. I used the original 75 ecu , which was decoded (£75) and remapped (£350). I'm getting 95bhp from the 1108 so I await your figures with interest!

Cheers, John

thanks. :)

It was prices like that which swayed me away from the standard setup. For less than the cost of remap on the standard ECU, i can buy a standalone - and do all the base line mapping myself, just having it tweaked by someone who knows more so what they are doing.

I'm still waiting for the bloody thing to turn up though *sigh*

ok, today..

battery tray is now fitted. fuel tank removed, what a biatch that was. Master brake cylinder prepped for removal, cleaned up the underside. That's all so far really. Repaired clutch cable on gex's Seicento too.

Not joking mark :( id include pics but ... lol

Not to worry i'll commission soemone to do the final bit this week, it only needs a couple of counterbores for the plate to bolt to the head and be flush then a couple holes threaded for studs for the MPI inlet to bolt to

BTW im not charging you, its free, you've waited too long on mc's that were meant to be free that wernt ever free :(

cheers mate.

guess this means i'l have to find someone local to do the brake caliper mounts though? I have the parts removed, was going to post them up on monday.. but prolly not a good idea now!

might fit the new arms and bushes later, but can't do much more than that as i'm waiting on new brake lines and caliper mounts, and calipers!

i might do them purple, i like purple :D

the rears are powder coated - and i'm running out of money, so i aint powder coating the fronts too!

car is going to ride smooth once this is all done - new bushes all over the show, and my drivers side wishbone has had worn balljoint since i got the car.
