Or should i say Oilio! :D

All you guys with 16v engines, remember this type of engine tends to use a little oil, especially with this warmer weather we've been having!

Managed to put 1/2ltr in mine the other day!

What's with the dipstick? How are you suppose to read it as there's no markings? I'm never sure of the level so I keep putting the occasional egg cup sized amount of oil in mine.

Agree there, its almost impossible to see anything on the dipstick!

The bottom edge of the dipstick is flat, thats your gauge, oil to the top of the flat bit = full, oil to the bottom of the flat bit means time to top up!

You should check your oil regularly anyway, but I found my Stilo used quite a lot of oil during the first 10,000 miles. I'm now upto 33,000 and it still uses a little bit, about 500ml between services (12,000 miles). Every person who now takes a driving test must know how to check the oil on a car, plus the other fluid levels. just a bit of useless info. for you.[8D]

Its all very well saying check your oil, but my oil is still crystal clear and near on impossible to see on the dipstick !! I normally end up wiping and dipping it a dozen times to tell what level it actually is...
