And I`m happy to say, there was no rust behind the rubber at all! Was a huge relief! (y)

Its ready for MOTing now, not sure when I`ll have time, then the interior swap (got a Fizz one ready to go in).

Actually, that reminds me.. Mines an 89` 750L, so has a hammock type rear seat, the Fizz one is obviously a normal rigid seat, are the captive nuts for the base hinges already in the floor, or am I gonna have to put some in?

I think you may have to put some in, there's usually only plastic plugs in the fixing holes.
Thanks VmanC! Dunno if I thought to keep them off the donor car.. I think I`ve got the backrest catches somewhere, but again, not sure if the captive nuts on the rear quarters are in the same place on both types..

Oh, I need a choke cable as well, mine snapped for some reason (its only done 32k!), so if anyones got one spare, gimme a shout please!

I'm presuming the hammock seats used in 750s use the same runners as a Mk1 (it looks like it in one of your photos of the screen replacement), the hammock seat type sit flat on the floor with the seat runner sliding in horizontally, whereas the mk2 type have the runners mounted further apart on the inner sill and transmission tunnel with the runner vertical. Mk2 seats also have the pivot bar at the front which is held in with three bolts into captive nuts in the floor (there is also a strengthening plate)

You will need to cut out the original runners and weld in some mk2 ones to fit the Fizz seats, I don't think there would be any easy way to make a mk2 seat fit a mk1 runner.

Oh blimey, thanks for the warning. I`ll have to check when I`m down there over the next few of days.

I know I`ve got a picture of my interior without seats in, I`ll have a look at that.. I might have one of the donor Panda after the seats were removed.. Possibly..
