General centre console help!

thanks but i've just ordered a sporting one i found, oh well... quite like the sporting one anyway and it was only £50!

not bad, hope i get mine on sunday, then it can be put in for painting

well i should be getting this sat or monday, any difficulties i might come across trying to remove and replace the centre consol or is it fairly straight forward?

Should be pretty straight forward as far as im aware, there mainly screws that hold the centre console in place, just remember to have patience, as you dont want to break any of it

not for me, i already got one, it was gone anyway, the car also had no engine, and its had engine bay fire
its got nice yellow electric mirrors though,

Regarding fitting, as i couldn't see that the origonal question had been answered, i have just bought the one with the secondary DIN slot (HGT), to fit my active, and as you are all aware the active has a differant handbrake console.

anyone bodged one?

Personally, Id only buy the centre console with the handbrake surround (as i have done already) - fiat sell the centre console in 3 parts (actual consol, hand brake surround, and top buttons)- they will not sell these individually.

Prob reccomend contactng the seller and asking him 2 include the handbrake surround

im stuck on getting the ash tray part and black middle part out, it looks to be connected by 2 screws but they aint moving :bang: :bang:

as for connecting it to the existing surround, might be tricky but possible :chin: thin and long bolts could be the answer, or alternatively as skinz' says contact seller

i've had that out, it's just a case of taking off the gear gaiter, then there are 2 screws then under the rear ashtray theres one (hex i think) and inder the middle loose change but theres a nother couple of screws.

i've now got 1 reserved (£30 delivered) but i'm sure thats expencive, especially as it's got stuff missing, so i've tryed the bloke i got the console off of, but he's waiting on someone to get back to him.
