i have recently brought myself a remote central locking/emobiliser & alarm i understand how to fit it in general but i am having trouble understanding the central locking, it has three different wiring diagrams for negative, positve and gas power how do i find out what i have at the moment? its a bravo 100 sx 1.6 16v W reg

Hope you didn't fork out too much for it.
The bravo already has an immobiliser.
You only need to replace a module (usualy behind the glove box) to get remote central locking, if you only have key-in-lock central locking.
That just leaves the alarm.

Dont bother wiring up the immobiliser on the Alarm you have, the Fiat one is more than enough plus the immobiliser with your alarm if wired up may mess around with the Fiat one.

Regarding the central locking, use this....

You are a diamond my man ... mother in law asked me to fit her an alarm seeing as some scummers broke into her punto 3 days ago.

Thought I'd have a quick look to see if anyone on fiats forums was more charitable than landrovers that I was looking into for my disco last week (miserable gets)

cheers now I know it is negative switching
