General cenral lock reciver problem

Hi! (Sorry about my bad english, I'm from Hungary)
I've got a FIAT UNO 1.5ieSX from '91. It has got contral locking system. I bought this car a few month ago. A hadn't got remote controller for the central lock, so I bought one, at the FIAT service, but I can't set it. The reciver doesn't accept the code, that I recived with the remote controller. In the official FIAT service the technicians can't set it too.
What can I do now? How can I reset the reciver? I've got programming instructions from teh car's manual, but it doesn't work.
Has someone any idea?

My mate has an AX that's he's fitted his own to... was considering askin him to convert mine too... that and he has made his remote lit too... which is well cool...

I've got an extra bit on my cheapo aftermarket alarm which i can wire a seperate remote central locking kit to for about £40. Comes with 4 solenoids, wiring and mounting plates.

Prob do that next month thinkin about it.
