Cd player problem

i brought a cd player from ebay back a few months, it kept getting cds stuck inside it, but now it wont turn on and power is getting to it beacuse the red light is on when the faceplate is off. and they wont even replace it and its still under warranty, heres a the from the email

so they saying cos i neva got a "pro" to do it they wont replace it. anything i cud do?

hmm,
have heard lots of complaints about those expressbuy101 geezers.

It seems to me they are selling substandard equipment, possibly factor refurb, and banging it out as new, and using ANY p**s poor excuse to do nothing about it when it goes wrong.

report 'em to ebay is my advice, did it say anything in the ad about having it proffesionally fitted or there will be no warranty? if not, they havent got a leg to stand on, the rules are clear!!
