cd player help!!

Hi,

My Sister has a Mutant Bluetooth cd player & woofer and the cd player won't switch off with the ignition!! Even when she turns it off manually theres still a red light and so it's draining her battery!! :bang:

I know you guys don't like Mutant from what I seen, but it was bought by my Father as a pressie!!

He's tried allsorts to fix it but the only way to stop it doing this is unplugging the fuse!! He cannot find if theres a wire to link to the ignition??

Any help will be great??

What I would do is to cut the positive wire that is going to the radio and then take a positive feed from something that turns of when you take the key out.....something like the accessory wire on the key lock would be good.

Tap into the Ignition wire and connect to the switched live feed on the Head Unit. Make sure that you put a fuse inline to the HU.
