CD Changer question again....sorry

So I got my changer and have looked under the drivers side rear seat, the double on and cannot see the letter box sized hole.
I have a mark 1 HGT. All there is under the seat is the felt.
Am I looking in the right place ??

Space on Series 1?

Hi,
I have a similar question. I have seen the 'letter box gap'. If you lift up the rear seat cushions and then the felt, it you look at the front edge where the back seats are hinged, you will see a gap in the plastic, it is almost in the middle of the back seat. I assume that is where the others have fitted the CD changer.
Under the felt at the middle of the back seat there appears to be a bit of a gap, or hollow in the fuel tank. I have my doubts whether there is enough space. I am planning to check it out this weekend, as I think it would be a great place for the CD-Changer.
I'll let you know, but if anyone has done this to a series 1 Bravo/Brava/Marea I would like to hear if it is possible!
