catalytic convertor

hi there i wonder if anybody could help me.
my catalytic convertor has a little hole in the bottom part of the bend on a weld, it is also in need of a new one apparently as it has failed its mot on emmisions.
does anybody know of where i can get a new one that is not going to cost me the earth.
the best price i can find on ebay is £125.99 but that is for a 1.2 16v up to 2001.
i have a 1.2 16v 52 plate so i also need to know if the above will fit as i am not a mecanic

Holes in cats can sometimes cause failures on emissions. There's a fair chance that the actual catalyser matrix is fine.

Perhaps if you post the emissions results someone can comment?

Welding up the hole in the cat might cost you £20 - £30.
