catalyst??

Hi fellas,

I am from Denmark, I own a FIAT Cinquecento 1993, Sport but only 39 HP. I bought it second hand so there was no manual, I was wondering if it has a catalyst(is that korrekt we call it katalysator). Can anyone help me with that?

hey,

i am not sure about the catalyst (i don't know much about cars!), but i know this sounds stupid.....

Check under the shelf in front of the front passenger seat, i didn't think i had one, until one day i looked under there!... if u have already looked and can't see it there, i am sure someone on here will know.

(i think they should make a manual on 'how to find the manual')

Look for something that says "injection" in either your manual or car´s registration card. If it has injection (most likely) it has a catalyst.

The cat is NOT inside the car, but under it, and is a part of the exhaust system. VERY hot as well.

I understand all Cinq's had a Catalyser as standard.

My 1993 899cc had one. My 95' Sporting has one.
