I'm looking into possibly becoming a spray painter/ body repair technician in case I'm not RAF pilot material, have been searching around and have found this;
http://www.connexions-direct.com/jobs4u/index.cfm?pid=48&catalogueContentID=203

The only problem I have found though is that the only college within reasonable distance is A college for the Deaf (http://www.deaf-college.com/prospectus/motor-vehicle-engineering.php), so not sure I'd be allowed entry there should I take this option.

It's driving me mad all this career ********, just wish I could walk into a job and that's that, not going to happen like :rolleyes:

Well part of the reason I'm not off to Uni is money, TBH I'd rather do the course as an apprenticeship if possible, working and college at the moment is actually making me ill from stress and lack of sleep :(. It may come down to having to be carless and moving into somewhere, thing is I love it around here, nowhere else I'd rather be in the UK at the moment.

Well fingers crossed you get to do what you really want to, if not goin to college to learn the vehicle route is a good one, especially if you set up your own business.

Hope those colleges are useful that I found?

With a part time job you can afford to move out of home and into a student flat/ house with others in a similar position. I agree with something like this, the best thing to do is apprenticeship, whether official or informal. Good luck, am sure you'll be in great demand if you get your training!
