would be a bugger if someone pranged it in the carpark, I know I would probably do something to them

Wow thats just damn mad.

Hate to think how much it cost. If it keeps the owner happy then who are we to complain. Certainly uses its carbon fibre bonnet better than these chav corsa/saxo types.

Hate to burst your bubble...but it depends on the weave ;)

too much in one direction, and too much load in another = dust

Yep, Rowan Atkinson caused thousands of pounds worth of damage to his McLaren F1 when he hit a Metro of all things at about 25mph!! The carbonfibre moncoque/chassis and suspension all needed going over IIRC.

Yeah you've seen F1? Nudge another car and pooof! Carbon fibre everywhere!

Same with the Lemans 24hr Prototype class cars. They make a huuuge mess! and it is extremely bad for the other cars tyres (n)

sorry i made an assumption. the carbon fibre they use to make bonnets on road race cars is double weave. afterall why thehell would you make a road car out of something that turns to dust (a la F1)
surely they'd just use that all over...

that is amazing. that thing would go like skint, dont even think a 'super car' would touch, ah but saying that my 1.2 stilo would show it a thing or two on the track, lol
