Car wont start? ruled out starter motor

Hi All,
I wonder if anyone can advise on what to look at next on my Multipla? One day last week it would not start, tried jump starting it and still nothing. All we where getting was a clicking sound. Gave the car a push and off it went. Since then worked fine. Roll on to yesterday again it wouldn't start so gave it a push and off it went. We have cleaned the battery terminals and the connections to the motor with no joy just the clicking sound So we tried taking the motor off gave it a clean and tried it on another battery. Starter motor looks to be working fine so now not sure what else to try

Could be the Starter solenoid? Try rocking the car by hand whilst in gear, then try starting it again, if it starts, would be that.

Sounds like a loose fuse next to the battery is a little black box check that if all else fails check the big black one in front of it can't see it being in the car hope this helps

Or hit the starter motor with something and try it it's a old myth but has been known to work
