car finance question

ive just signed all the paper work and get my car next week but it was supposed to be today but it isnt ready and they said if i bring the car im px'ing in they will lend me another car the same as im getting but what worries me is that when i take my car in they could find something wrong and then refuse to do the deal or can they not do this as everything is signed
