Just thought I'dd put up some pics of my brothers car crash back in 2002.
It might make some of you check your blindspot a bit more often as people tend to forget how serious it is.
Basically he was overtaking a woman who decided to overtake something without checking her blindspot forcing him sideways into a tree at 60mph.
The driver door took the full force of the tree.
He climbed out but had a broken neck. He was out of hospital in three days but was in a neck brace for 6 months.
She was charged but they were dropped because there were no witnesses.
She tried to claim he was speeding but by her calculations he would have been doing about 800mph!
It still took 2 years for her insurance company to admit liability for the accident. The case for compensation is going to court after the summer.
