Technical can i use another sump on my engine

i heard the bottom end of most punto 1.2 engines are the same and i cant get a sump till monday..

do the mark 1 sumps fit on punto mk2 engines?

The mk1 16v sump is shaped differently. An 8v on a 16v will fit but the 16v exhaust won't go round the 8v sump.

This may be irrelevant to what you're are doing though

yeh there the same i put a mrk 2 sum on my mark 1 not hard to change either
