Technical Cambelt mk2 punto 8valve

hi,i have a 2000 reg punto 1.2 8 valve engine 188a4000
i am looking for new cambelt kit,but there are 2 types,108 teeth and 129 teeth,
so which type do i need?
help needed

you could try counting
maybe one is for a mk1?
these are thinner

Yeah ,how do i count when i cannot get the belt off
surely somebody knows what belt is required for 188a4000 engine WITHOUT having to count the number of teeth on a timing belt,come on its 2012,surely theres a manual with all this info!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm fairly sure that the 108 is for the older 55s and 60s and you need the 129 . There is also a 124 for the 1.4 and people have changed water pumps with the wrong pitch and worn the teeth off. Beware.

Just fine mine today, 129 teeth on my 52 plate, the width was 15 mill, my motor factors were able to check this against my the plate though, as should yours assuming the engine hadn't been changed.
