does any one know at what milage you should change the cam belt on a mk 2 1.2 punto

The Mk1 is about 70,000 but I think the Mk2 is a lot less.

according to my book it is 5 years or 72,000
(whichever comes sooner)

it would be a good idea to get it changed at 50,000 maximum though.
if you consider that the car is out of warrenty after 3 years, fiat wont be accountable if it snaps out of the warranty period.

Its not just on mileage. Its like anything over time it ages and breaks. Maxaium of 6 years seven pushing. And all 1.1/1.2 8v safe engine
