An ultra-violent computer game which features explosions and scenes of destruction on the London Tube and at the Houses of Parliament is to be released later this year.
Supporters of those affected by the 7/7 suicide attacks in July 2005, which killed 52 people, called for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 to be banned.
The game's trailer, which is described as 'inappropriate' for children, depicts military helicopters, rocket launchers and black-op style soldiers in balaclavas.

I hope its not, it looks great ...

Maybe they should make a last minuit change that sees the player shooting looters.

This made me laught last time news reporters went on a computer games are destroying the world campaign.

Call of duty has been going down hill since the first modern warfare title, the game keeps getting shorter, simpler and easier with each release. Commercialism has been destroying games for a long time, its all about how much money they can milk out of players these days especialy EA games. They new Deus Ex looks like it will be good though.

Pretty sure it did, there was another game (cant remember which) that caused outrage because it was a shooter and one level was based in some important cathederal somewhere in England as well.

Manchester Cathedral and Resistance IIRC...

I'm not a massive gamer and don't own any shooters. they have to base it all on something tbh else it would be classed as fantasy surely. MW series is supposed to have realistic worlds... doesn't it? did people kick off when S.T.A.L.K.E.R. released Call of Pripyat? surely more lives were destroyed and affected by that 'little episode' than 7/7... i dont mean ANY disrespect by that at all so please dont flame me.

my point being that... is it ok to base an entire game on one catastrophy but not a level? if so... where's the sense in that!!

man up people and grow a pair! computer games don't kill people... people kill people. surely if u want to ban 1 game for 1 scene you should be banning countless movies and TV programs or is that ok because its 'Hollywood'??
