I wonder if any of you Panda officianados could advise please?

Looking at a 2014 Lounge with 65,000 miles, 4 service stamps.

Suppose its only done 10,000/year - But, it has done 65,000. It looks in decent condition, it's just the mileage that's gnawing at me.

Any pointers gratefully received.

No real concerns with the mileage (if it's the 1.2), though you never really know what it's been doing and how it's been driven, which is true for all used cars.

You'd want to see a little more evidence than stamps - like receipts for cambelt/pump and whatnot.

Is it drastically cheap?

That looks lovely and clean. Shame about the red interior!

Further investigation shows the car Im talking about passed its MOT in April 2019 with advisories for both sides, front suspension bush wear. It then failed an MOT in October 2019 (Light not working) then passed in November 2019.

Why would it have an MOT in October 2019 having passed one in April 2019?!

Bit strange.

You could consider one of the Panda's siblings perhaps: The 500 or Ford Ka, though the 2 doors annoyed me. Other than that you can find the very well specc'd Chrysler Ypsilon, many with lower miles.

This is the top spec one for example, though there's other with lower miles:

You can redo an mot anytime. Often dealers put a car through an MOT as a way of showing it to be in good order - cheaper to them than a warranty. But MOT only means the car met the minimum requirements on the day of test - the wheels could fall off a day later.

If oil last changed a year ago (Stamp number 4) and oil now brown in colour and most of the dipstick covered, can reasonably assume motorway miles and been looked after. Tyre brand important, if 4 of original brand with recent manufacture date on sidewall, they've spent several £000 without a seconds thought. Maybe chip a bit off the price for cambelt and water pump change in 6 months. Find main dealer with sensible fixed price for this, as work should have one year guarantee.
