went to see a red 1.1 cinque sporting today with my friend, its £425 and seems to be in good condition and the guy seems to know what hes talking about as he buys cinques does them up and sells them. we're going back tomorrow to probably buy it.
Just wondering what we should be looking for and what mileage the cambelt needs to be changed etc.
its currently on about 65k miles and the engine sounds very smooth. the only thing is hes said something about sometimes the fuel mix is too rich so it gives it a flat spot when its cold.
cheers, tom.

If cambelt hasnt been done get it done asap as it will be 13/14 years old the cambelt

Underneath your signature (at the bottom of what you post) should be a link to the FAQs/HOWTOs. If not, top of the page, under the banner.

Cinqs are of an age now where I'd be at least as cautious as to the condition of the bodywork. Check especially at the very back of the boot and the rear wheelarches at the top. If you see rust, proceed with extreme caution.
