Technical burning smell

happns at low revs and reverse? i took it in and they said that the tube which allows exhaust fumes to escape wasnt fitted right but its still happening. any ideas what could be wrong?

You had the recall work done for the heating wire?

And can you pin point where the smell is coming from, I know this sounds like a daft question but I mean does it smell stronger on the passenger side etc etc

yer you meen have the clip fitted? yer i got that done, and im not to sure, people in the passenger seat can also smell it, i guess its pretty even.

which belts are you talking about? the cam belt in the engine?

yeah, cam belt, alternator belt, Id try and jack the car up run it and try and locate the smell
