Subframes are from a Vauxhall yes?

The Subframes in my 1242 are homemade. They were made using 3mm thick steel sheet and they seem adequate.

I got a pair of BNIB Corbeau Cinq specific ones that I may be willing to sell if you don't want to make your own

There is a huge difference between 'adequate' to hold you while you are sitting, and 'adequate' in the event of an accident.

Use the correct thing, or if you must make your own, build something like the Forth Bridge (local reference) under your seat.
