hi there was discussing the re720 tyres i n a thread few days ago and i was saying that they had dual layer rubber technology. someone checked there site and it dint say it anyway i wrote them an email asking if they had changed the way they make teh tyres and here is there offical response if you interested.
Dear Justin,
Thank you for your interest in Bridgestone tyres, we are very pleased
that you are enjoying the RE720 tyres on your vehicle.
The design of the RE720 has not, to our knowledge, changed since its
inception. The change of information on the website is due to a
re-alignment of the technology markings used in our promotional
literature. The RE720 does still have dual layer tread although this is
something that our marketing people have decided not to draw attention
to with the new literature that Bridgestone are using - possibly because
this feature is becoming more common on tyres and therefore no longer a
'stand-out' feature.
I hope this answers your query, please don't hesitate to contact me if
you require any further information.
Kind regards,
