Breaking Mk1 HGT

Right guys, time has come to break the HGT.

She has too much that needs doing repair wise and with a lower wage than i had a few months ago, it unfortunately isn't going to happen.

here is a list of the basics I am selling, the rest of teh car will be stripable aswell.

HGT Abarth (from Fiat) front bumper £150

Alfa 147 leather interior, door card inserts covered in black suede and Marea centre console leathered to match. £300

Powerflow cat back exhaust with Oval tail pipe £100

Team Dynamics 17" monza alloys in White. Need a slight refurb, one scuff mark on one wheel. All tyres good £250

Lowered suspension (Bilstien shocks and unkown springs, i think Jamex) -55 mm £100

HGT Side skirts £60 (pair)

HGT wings £50(pair)

Head lights £30 (pair)

rear Lights £30 (pair)

I can take some bits off the engine, but its burning oil and the cambelt does need doing, so its not worth that much.

I will only break the car in one fowl swoop one weekend, so if you want bits it will have to be a few people ready to go at once due to not having the space, nor do i have another car, so i need to sell as much as i can before buying a crappy run around.

Few things I need Andy:

NS and OS kick trims (internal) - the ones that usually break when you add audio or anything

3x Seatbelt bolt covers (the plastic/rubber bits) that go over the pivoting points near shoulders.

Steering wheel electrical connector unit - sits inbetween the steering wheel itself and the stalks (the horn and airbag connect into it).

What condition is the rad in out of curiosity?

Andy B - The headlights are just normal ones mate, not Poly's

Robin & Ant, no worries guys, as and when we know whats happening we can sort it from there

Rich (aka Paddy) will try and get some pics at lunch for you mate. there is one somewhere showing the basics of it.

Kirk, no worries mate, when it comes to it you have first dibs on the altenator. The pipe to the inlet however is different as i have an induction kit, so only have part of it.

Insy, can cover all of those no worries mate as for the Rad, it was brand new less than a year ago, so pretty damn good nick!

Gillian, if you dont want to pay the money, you wont get one... its going rate for a HGT Abarth bumper I'm afraid, and unfortunately I need all the money I can get to buy a new car...

Will get pics of the wheels along with the interior at lunch time

As for when I'm breaking it, it will be a case of when i can get enough parts sold at once, plain and simple as its my only transport at the moment, i need to make it last as long as poss then get it striped and sold in one fowl swoop.

A few parts I forgot to add to the list are

Alfa 147 door handles £50

Wind deflectors £10

Full front break set up £60

Full rear break set up £60

Good MAF £15

Bonnet Lifters £10

Bonnet and Boot are also good

Hi Keval, wings are in good nick, no dents etc.. there are a couple of scratches in the paint, but that is it, especially as you will need them sprayed anyway
