My 2001 Bravo 1.2 80 Failed On Its Mot As They Couldnt Test Some Stuff Due To Wheels Being To Big And The Bodykit Getting It The Way When Jacked Up. So I Brought Some Steel Wheels For It To Be Re-tested They Are 14" Steel Wheels They Fitted The Back Fine But The Front Didnt Due To The Brake Pads Getting In The Way Any Suggestion???

Isn't the car going to be even lower on the 14 steel wheels?????

The wheels cant be covering anything as the Testers should still see the drive shaft boots brake pipes track rod ends etc. If they cant see something then hard cheese to them as a tester is NOT allowed to remove anything.

many bodykits arent designed well enough to be suitable for road use imo. there is no mechanism to ensure a bodykit is safe and will not cause problems such as this. any fool can make and sell any bodykit for any car without the body kit passing any kind of safety or suitability standards.

the bodykit is fine its been on the car for over a year and never rubs its only when it gets jacked up because the wheel get lower then you cant as it rubs
