Guys, a freind of mine is teaching his daughter to drive in a bravo, good man!!! unfortunatly at a roundabout she may have not quite cleared all the curbs and managed to buckle a wheel and break the steering rack! bad times!!!

the rack is all sorted thanks to haynes agricultural engineering, however they were unable to source a steel wheel for the stricken bravo, so we turn to you

idealy we are looking for a wheel with a tyre

175/65 r14, would imagine that is standard brava/o wheels! and again idealy we are looking in the south east, so im turning towards jayfish, chris, insy or andy!! let me know if you have a spare wheel laying around somewhere and make a 17 year old girl happy again!!! cheers guys i await your replys!!

Ive got a full set of alloys for sale soon, unfortunately up in the midlands, but would only want say £60 for all with tyres?

As soon as i have my new ones on, it would be tues/weds next week.

The wheels are these

Car

They all have minor curbing and the like. one has a brand new tyre i had on yesterday.

all i've got left is a 15" mk1 hgt alloy mate, i'm afraid it's on 195/55 so the rolling radius isn't closem 38mm out.

Long time no speak Wolfie, I meant to get in touch ages ago, but back on topic try your local breakers for a steel wheel it'll cost about a fiver and a tyre swop and balance is about a tenner unless you go to quikfit, who will try and sell you a new clutch and exhaust why your there. Thats what I had to do :( anyway.

I'll speak to you soon mate anyway.

Thanks for your help guys, i will pass the pic of your wheels onto my friend if thats ok mate and will get back to you soon!

Where abouts in Sussex are you Wolfie ??

There's 'Bridges' breakers in Pease Pottage (just outside Crawley)... last time I popped up there, they had loads of Bravo/a's and a few Mareas.

Sussex Recovery in Fontwell, just up the road from me have a few Brav's in too...

Hi wolfie if you are intrested in the wheels could you let me know, if not they will be sold elsewhere.
Cheers.

How do matey,

Unfortunately I have pretty much cleared my stockpile of wheels and only have a couple of old tyres left now (which really do need dumping...)

Best bet is a local breakers for a new steelie, then your local tyre shop for a budget special, all told it should see no more that £40 to get sorted.

If the motors stricken or needed, sling on the space saver, limited to 50mph max, but hey, as a learner its not often you go over that!
