How on earth do you get the aerial off the roof? On the tipo you take off the cover and undo the screw. It's a captive bolt on the bravo/marea and the base has bits that stick out so you can't just twist it off..

Help?

You mean the aerial bit itself or the whole base unit as well? The undo the aerial bit, it unscrews just up from the bit that angles it, if you look closely, you can see some grip-marks (but you will need a wrench or pliers to force it as it's tight). To remove the whole base unit, you need to access it through the interior light and sunroof mechanism (and try not to lose any screws).

Yup, what she said :)

You take off the interior light, then remove the sunroof motor, which gives you access to the aerial bolt.... the haynes manual shows it all quite well (y)

There was me thinking it would be an easy job...

Good thing this one is the Marea with no sunroof. If its a hard job might not bother with the Bravo and just buy a decent MP3 headunit so we don't need the radio!

It's not a hard job, just a bit fiddly getting the sunroof motor out and back in. I am of the honest belief that if I can do it, anyone can :)

Well if you have no sunroof, it should be a breeze. Just remove the clip covers on the interior light which will give you access to the screws/bolts.

Then you can just clip it off and get to the aerial.
