My Bravo HGT 2.0 155, cuts out completely when running occasionally. It happens usually when am about to slow down at lights or appraoching a roundabout in any gear!! what happens is, sometimes there is a slight jerk, sometimes not, but when almost stopped and in gear suddenly the engine dies completely when the cluth is pressed. when I try to restart it, the engine turns over and eventually drains the battery completely after a few attempts (the battery is old too and am replacing it). I left the car parked for a while when this happened and tried starting again and it seems to start sometimes. Recovery guy checked the alternator, battery connections etc and said it was ok. This happens randomly. any ideas what could be wrong? fuel pump perhaps?
