Bravo burns oil through carburettor

Problem: the carburetor is now and then full with oil probably from the sump. Did clean the ventilation from the top to the carburetor. The problem is not fixed it is still burning burning oil, thick blue smoke is coming from the exhaust now and then. What's wrong?
Has anyone experience the same problems?

Crankcase Breather?

My first car was a VW Golf, which when I first got it would fill the air filter full of oil! Turned out that the crankcase breather hose filter had become clogged, the crankcase was being pressurised and oil was being squirted under pressure through the filter and up into the air intake. A new crankcase filter cured...

No idea if the Bravo system is similar though!
