General bravo alarm help needed.

my 51 plate 1.6hlx bravo alarm is playing up
when i lock the car after 5-10 secs the car makes a bleep
i have owned my bravo for 18 months it has never done this before
the alarm has gone off during the night a couple of times over the last 2 weeks,this has happened only since the alarm has started the bleep after locking.

Could anyone please help

The bleep signals that a sensor is seeing an incorrect signal, the most likely cause of this is the bonnet or boot as these operate from pin switches. The bonnet one can be adjusted easily, if you want to check then open the bonnet and holding down the switch arm the alarm, if the noise doesnt occur then you are in the right area. If it does then check the boot.
