...will go. :)

After weeks of fruitless searching I eventually found a dealer who said he could supply Marea masks. So I sent off my money and waited impatiently for them to arrive. When the package finally arrived I opened it expectantly....only to find standard RGM Bravo/a masks.

After contemplating driving to Sunderland to stick them down someones throat; I felt a project come on.

I never thought about taking any pics until I'd already moved the central headlight pillar, so i'll start with stage 2. All I did in phase 1 was to cut out the pillar and stick it back with a few tweaks with some GRP.

Next I opened out the indicator holes. I would have liked to make them a bit bigger but decided to keep a bit of the existing plastic to brace the next lot of GRP.

Anyone for shreddies? A bit of poly bag and cardboard = instant mould.

Can you see the next project in the background?

Now all I need is a bit of dry weather.

Nice work young man!

Wouldnt they have fit straight on? I have light masks but have not bonded them to my bravo lights as I will be doing the marea pod conversion at some time. Do they not match?

Thanks everyone :D They are on the car now. Pics to follow.

Wimmy, the arrangement of the lights behind the front glass is completely different. If you hold one of yours up and compare it with the modded ones above you will see what is different.

That looks good, shame the SX didn't get the same headlamps. I got to thinking that maybe the rear lights could do with a bit of same treatment. Has anyone ever tried anything to improve the look of the back end of the car?
