Technical Bravo 1.6 sump

Hi all. I'm looking for some advice on my brother's car, which is a 1.6 Bravo R reg. The problem is that the sump is in pretty bad shape, lots of corrosion (he says he 'may' have hit a speed bump too [)]) and oil is leaking from around the plug.

Is it possible to get a replacement sump and fit it myself? Or is it a hideous job? Expensive? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

its an easy enough job, you can get a replacment sump from your local fiat parts dealer.
the sump is sealed too the bottom of the engine using silicone sealer(also bought from fiat) also you need too leave the sealer too cure, overnight is best otherwise they sometimes have a tend too leak in my experience.
