Thanks ;), Stephan

what are "the obvious reasons" for a 127 catching fire?

I was wondering about that ...

That reminds me, someone on the forum wanted some electrical schematics for a 127 ...

STEVE - the almost geriatric, NOS guzzling Panda owner and beagle fanatic ...

I'm pink, therefore I'm SPAM :)

It's quite a while ago but I seem to remember that the fuel pump was nicely situated right above the manifold and it did not like heat that much; i.e. perished seal or hose (never found out..) and up it went!
[V] For a mile or so I had traffic waving at me - which I thought was quite touching - then I got hot feet.
My sis had a Panda - it did exactly the same...
Still, I'm 6'7, but that 127 Sport was serious fun - loved it!
Sorry on the schematics - the only thing I have left of it is a bad back[)]
