Technical Brava Wiper problems

Hi,
Since the snow / cold last week my front wipers only work on double speed (not intermitent or single speed) and the blades don't return to the bottom of the screen when you push the stick upwards for a single wipe.
The motor is obviously still working and so is the fuse - can anyone help???

Myn has started this since the snow. I was speaking to a freind of myn who is a mechanic who asked if i had used them to clear the snow off which I never do because of the weight of the snow.

I did stupidly left the wipers the night before and when I started the car to warm it they did sweep the snow off.

He reckons because of this I have burnt the motor out.

I'm going to change my motor weather depending the weekend I'll let you know.

Mine has started to act like this too.....did the new motor solve the problem?

Yes it did mate.

Just be careful when you pull the scuttle panel off because the clips on myn had gone brittle and broke.

I had to araldite my clips back on. Not really a problem but it was a pain waiting for the glue to set enough to clip them back in place.

I replaced the wiper stalk and found out it didnt solve it!! so i need a wiper motor arggg...
