brava rear wiper motor

Hi there,please can anyone tell me the best way to test a rear wiper motor
wired directly to the battery as ive bought a used one put it in and im not
sure if it works...regards...mart.

Just take a a 9 Volt PP3 along with you.

Remove the two cable from the white power connector, and connect up to battery and you should see and hear whether the replacement is any good.

Hello All,

think you might want something beefier than a PP3 which would supply.. a few mA . perhaps use a 6V lantern battery (the big square ones) or just a car battery..

Tried using a PP3?
As a !TEST!, it works fine.

The speed at which the motor will operate will enable you to hear how corroded the wiper drive shaft is.

Well, I never tried it, but i didnt think it would give enough power to overcome the friction in the gearbox and shaft though.. I learn another new thing
