General Brava 1600 Y reg

Can any one tell me what the average fuel consumption is for a Y reg Brava 1600 in kilometres to litre as opposed to MPG ?
Or the formula to calculate it. I am driving from Derby to Provence (France) in jun and am trying to work out fuel cost.

lets assume your car is the same as my 1.6 bravo and you get 30mpg.

30mpg means 30miles per 4.54litres.
30 miles = 48.3km

so we get 48.3km to 4.54litres

that means 48.3/4.54 km to 1litre

which is 10.64km to 1 litre.


or; in the more common form of EU notation (litres per 100km) it would be 100/10.64= 9.4litres per 100km
