Hello, again

The decision is big and difficult.
I will either repair my ladybug or replace it with a Toyota Yaris. But I bought this new car new in May 2000, I took care of it because it is the family car and it is full extra. Αnd I will be really upset if I sell it

I am looking for a clutch disc replacement kit since it is already 80,000km and the time of the change is approaching for the second time.
The original was replaced at 85000km and now the car has 172,340km.

I do not know which brand is the genuine one, searching on the internet I read that maybe it is the RYMEC Clutch Kit (3 Piece)

While searching I found a set made by valeo, luk, veco Sachs

My problem is that I usually first have a problem with the clutch bearing, because it and in a short time starts to make noise and after a while it is damaged and I have to change the clutch set while the disc is in good condition and not slips.

Maybe I should look to buy a better quality bearing from a branded company like SKF.

What is your opinion on my problem?

I changed my clutch the first time with a LUK kit, it is high quality.

Your problem seems strange, but with my car it later developed a problem where the clutch seemed sticky or notchy when releasing. I went to a gearbox specialist yhinking that the clutch had failed again but they found that a sleeve that comes out of the gear box with a shaft inside it had broken so the sleeve was moving... they rebuilt the gearbox using a spare and we put in a QH clutch even though the LUK was still fine.

I remember thinking that the clutch for these cars looks very small and weak, compared for example to the one for my Tipo 1.4 which is a similar car.

On our Brava 1.6 year 2000 we changed the clutch approximately every 75,000 miles, so not the longest lasting clutch. It was changed for the third time at around 205,000 miles, but the Brava was part exchanged and scrapped last year at the mileage of 225,500 miles.
