hi can anyone tell me where abouts of any electrical bits on a 1.9 td 100hp engine i mean has this engine got any air flow meters or gas recirculation bits on it and where i can find these bits and expected cost o said bits. my diesel emitting black smoke at about 2300 to 3000 revs through gears spec 2nd 3rd heeelllppp!"! yes you have a MAF and an EGR and many other "electrical bits"
i cant realistically list and describe all of the TD's engine management components in this thread, but you can read about them in the fiat manuals available to download here: www.babarmalik.com/ledmods.htm
if its a TD use volume1 if its a JTD use volume3
there is even a fault finding section for the TD, it tells you what to check if you have excessive black smoke.
i appreciate the manuals are difficult to use at first, but there is a wealth of info there if you can find it.
