Hi,

clutch has been high for a while, then came out one day to drive car, select gear and no drive?
I have put in a new 3 part clutch today, all back together and still no drive when i engage gear :bang:

Clutch pedal is very heavy.

Also how on earth do you bleed the system? i can see no resivouir to top up the fluid, only the brake master? is it all in one?

any help please need to get this car on road a.s.a.p

thanks

Paul

The fluid supply pipe to the clutch master cylinder will come from part way up the side of the brake fluid resevoir.

It's a safety feature designed so that if there's a fluid leak anywhere in the brake system, the clutch will stop working before the brakes do.

Dave.

yes they both share the brake reservoir. you bleed the clutch hydraulics using the bleed nipple on the slave cylinder (on top of gearbox).

if there is no drive then you have either fitted the clutch wrongly or you may have a dead diff on the gearbox. i think the diff is most likely in this situation.
